VICTORIA EXPRESS BACK INTO SERVICE
In its efforts to accommodate the exigencies of all its commuters, Gozo Channel will be resuming its catamaran service as from Monday 3rd April. The S.E.S. Victoria Express will be operating from Monday to Saturday except on Public Holidays until the 13th May. After this date, the schedule will be revised to also include departures from Sliema.
Speaking about the resuming of the service, Gozo Channel Chairman, Mr John E Sullivan stated that “the fast ferry service offered to our commuters goes in line with our commitment to offer a reliable and efficient customer service. However, we must remain sensitive to our customers’ needs and be flexible enough to gear our resources to act upon these needs. Furthermore, we have included Sliema in the Victoria Express’s itenerary in order to attract a share of the tourist market who commute regularly to Gozo. In fact, a number of tour operators have already exressed their wish to use the Catamaran service for their guided tours to Gozo.”
The fares for the Catamaran SES Victoria Express will be of Lm3.00 for a one way ticket or Lm5.00 with return for adults and Lm1.50 for a one way ticket or Lm2.50 with return for children between 4 and 12 years of age. A special fare of Lm1.00 return is applicable on the 1st trip (06.30am) from Mgarr Gozo only. The return ticket can be used on any trip from Malta.
The new schedule for the SES Victoria Express will be as follows:
