GOZO CHANNEL’S WINTER SCHEDULE
Gozo Channel wishes to notify all commuters that due to a series of underwater repairs which are currently taking place on berth number 1 at Mgarr Harbour in Gozo during November and December, only one ship at a time will be able to make use of the Mgarr harbour, as only berth number 2 will be operational.
In this regard, the Company has planned its winter schedule throughout November and December in such a way so as to limit as much as possible, certain inconveniences which might arise due to these works. Gozo Channel wishes to inform its commuters that works are expected to be completed over a period of a few weeks and therefore the Company, will be able to resume its normal service in time for the Christmas recess.
Furthermore, throughout January, works will resume with the start of the second phase of the project which entails the extension of quay number 1 which project will again hamper operations. However, following the completion of these works, the new quay will then be able to accommodate the new Gozo Channel vessels.
