Ferry tickets are to be purchased from the Mgarr (Gozo) terminal

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Vehicle + Driver tickets (non-subsidised tickets) are sold either online or at the Mġarr (Gozo) vehicle ticket booths ONLY. Drivers embark with their vehicles from Ċirkewwa (Malta) without validating ticket/s. Tickets, whether pre-purchased online or purchased at the vehicle ticket booths in Gozo, are validated only from Gozo, before embarking on the return/start journey. Foot passengers starting their journey from Cirkewwa will be guided by the Gozo Channel personnel at the terminal. Foot passenger tickets, whether purchased online or from the passenger ticket booths, are only validated at the Gozo terminal, on the return/start journey. Adults travelling with infants (0-3) years MUST ask for the infant free tickets from the Gozo Channel ticket booths and validate the tickets at Mġarr-Gozo before the start/return journey. Children between 4-12 years of age pay a fare of EUR 1.15 and child tickets can only be purchased from the Gozo Channel ticket booths. Child tickets must be validated at Mġarr-Gozo before the start/return journey. Permanent Residents who are Senior Citizens (60+) and who present a valid ID card, as well as passengers who present a valid EU Disability card at the ticket booths, travel for free, however, passengers must still be in possession of the free ticket to be able to embark the ferry. The individual free passenger ticket can only be obtained at the ticket booths, upon presentation of the requested documents, and must be scanned before embarkation. Gozo Channel does not operate a reservations system and embarkation is on a first come, first served basis.
