- The total ticket price reflects one round trip with Gozo Channel. Validation of the vehicle and driver tickets, as well as those of foot passenger tickets is done, respectively, at the Mġarr (Gozo) vehicle ticket booths and the Mġarr passenger terminal on the start/return journey.x
- The online vehicle ferry tickets apply only for standard vehicles of maximum length 5.3 metres. Wrongly purchased, online tickets are not refundable and customers with vehicles in excess of 5.3 metres will have the ticket declined at embarkation points. Customers will have to purchase the correct vehicle ticket at the booths, for embarkation.
- Every Passenger in a vehicle going through the Mġarr marshalling area, must be in possession of an individual ticket for validation at the vehicle ticket booths. Passenger tickets must be validated by the Gozo Channel officers in the marshalling area, for embarkation.
- Multiple tickets purchased online through one transaction, cannot be collectively presented for validation on a single PDF document. Every embarking passenger must be in possession of an individually printed ticket or an electronic ticket presented on a mobile phone/device. Customers can however segregate bulk tickets saved as a PDF document into separate individual tickets, using the online tool found on the following link: https://www.pdf2go.com/split-pdf, or other similar online tools.
- Children aged 0-3 years travel for free. Parents/guardians must ask for a free ticket from the passenger terminal or from the vehicle ticket booths at Mġarr and scan the infant ticket at embarkation points. Children between 3-12 years of age pay a fare of EUR 1.15, however, the child fare ticket can only be purchased from the Gozo Channel ticket booths and every child ticket must be validated for embarkation.
- Senior permanent residents (aged 60+ showing a valid ID card) and passengers showing a valid EU Disability Card travel for free as foot passengers, however, the free tickets/s MUST be obtained at the ticket booths and scanned before embarkation
- Gozo Channel will not refund wrongly purchased, online tickets and customers will have to purchase the correct ticket/s from the booths to proceed to embarkation.
- Purchased tickets are not bound for use with a specific Gozo Channel trip.
- Embarkation on Gozo Channel ferries is on a first come, first served basis. The purchase of online tickets does not entitle the ticket holder to priority boarding.
- Tickets must be kept for the whole duration of the trip.
- Standard tickets are valid for one round trip journey and can be used within 6 (six) months from the date of purchase. Lost, unused or expired tickets are not refundable and cannot be changed.
